This leaves the remaining two, Tunnel and the universal Road to Customs, as prime locations for campers. However, the Scavs have seven exit points while the PMCs only have four, three of which are not always available. Like most maps, Shoreline is split up between both factions, with one location, the resort, shared between the two. This is also one of the best maps in the game for loot. Players will need to be prepared for anything. The wide-open spaces of the map at large along with the close quarters of the resort and the building to building combat of the villages provide a wide variety of combat experiences. This is one of the best PvP maps in the game along with Interchange and Factory. The map features an abandoned village, an expansive beachfront, a luxury health resort, and a couple of villas among many other points of interest. Adjacent to Customs, the map is a significant part of the Tarkov outskirts. I know the maps are very much not in scale and the rotation is rough. The Shoreline is the fourth map added to Escape from Tarkov and the second largest. Please let me know if you have some more findings or issues. Some segments are now joint by the hip so to speak, but others have some wider areas to cover. That is based on how close or far the areas seem to be from one another currently. In my estimation, it looks like there could be half average outside map size still to push out the current borders of the maps to have sort of transition zones (like just some forest) in between the locations. Put in the planned dynamic events like some artillery fire and it'll be amazing. On the other hand, this is good news because it speaks for the likelihood of the game area being stitched together one day for real. And Customs looks like it's going to be Military base very quickly. Interchange starts right from Customs, there's large Factory area between Customs and Woods. What this means to me is that, sort of disappointingly the whole "world" of Tarkov, or the coveted "one big map". So all in all, I think I've gathered enough evidence to have this ROUGHLY about right. However, if I switch it around as it is possible, this creates a whole cascade of problems that no longer makes sense - Like Streets of Tarkov located where Lighthouse is supposed to be according to the satellite map. This creates a problem with the factory area alignment, which is perfect between Woods and Customs, since Woods exit naming "South V-EX" is at odds with the orientation. The river aligns as well as Road to Customs exit makes it solid. I've also used the in-game "satellite image" map as a reference during research.Ĭustoms railroad next to the river actually even says railroad to port in the sign above the road, which I've forgotten to mention in the graphic. I've used outside map objects like the tower of Tarkov and the factory buildings in between Woods and Customs to align the maps together and thus ended up creating a sort of pre-stitched planting of the maps into one area where they fit best according to the evidence gathered. Most of the ideas and evidence has already been put to the graphic as well as to the Reddit post. I had this urge to go revisit having a look outside maps and things started clicking.
